Hi, I'm Annika.
I'm a storyteller who loves people just as much as I love a good shot. I grew up in the Philippines and now call New York home, where the city's energy and the people in it keep giving me new stories to tell.
Behind the Camera
The biggest thing I learned from film school: making someone feel. I want to feel human, and even though it's via a screen, I love narrative shorts, PSAs, and brand films.
Off Camera
When I'm not creating, I'm usually shooting stills on the street, journalling, playing chess, or striking up a conversation with friend/family or sometimes a stranger! I love learning and expressing, you can see some of that in the Photography section.
